Finding your accommodation in France
Finding accommodation in France can be a challenge, especially for international students. That’s why ESCE can help you with this important step. Before you arrive, we advise you to start your search as soon as possible and, if necessary, to book temporary accommodation to help you settle in.
Our team is here to guide you with practical advice and useful resources so that you can find a place to live that suits your needs, whether you’re an exchange student or a newcomer. Your comfort and peace of mind are our top priorities!
Obtaining your visa to study in France
To study in France, it’s essential to choose the right type of visa for the duration of your stay. If your stay is short (3 months or less), you’ll need to apply for a short-stay visa, generally intended for students taking part in short-term exchange programs or internships. For a stay of more than 3 months, you’ll need a long-stay student visa, offering you benefits such as access to social security, housing assistance and the possibility of working part-time while you study.
ESCE can help you every step of the way. We’ll provide you with all the information you need to prepare your visa application, including the certificate of enrolment, and direct you to the appropriate resources. However, it’s important to note that these steps remain your responsibility, even though we’re here to advise you and answer your questions throughout the process.
Student Insurance and Liability
During your studies, it’s essential to have the right insurance to protect you in the event of property damage or bodily injury caused to others. In France, student liability insurance is often required for academic activities, internships, travel and daily life.
ESCE can help you with this process, providing you with useful information on how to take out insurance that suits your needs. You can also take advantage of special offers thanks to specific partnerships. Don’t hesitate to contact the school for advice on how to maximize your protection throughout your stay.
